Video released of 7-Eleven armed robbery

Police have released surveillance video of the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven in Frankford on June 29 in hope of identifying the culprits.

It happened at about 2:25 a.m. at 5028 Frankford Ave. Two men, both with handguns, forced one clerk to a rear storage room and a second clerk to open the cash registers. Both victims are 49-year-old men.

The robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. They were last seen northbound on Frankford Avenue. One was described as black, 20 years old with a dark complexion, small beard, mustache, black hoodie and blue jeans. The second suspect was described as black, 30, with a black hoodie and blue jeans.
